THE STORY

There really is no way to own an ice cream shop and not have a cookies-and-cream or a birthday cake flavor on your menu. And, of course, we need a dairy-free version of such a flavor as well! So we made a dairy-free, vegan version of this top-selling flavor. This flavor has been created around the very well-known birthday cake recipe created by Christina Tosi. She started Milk Bar in NYC and has since brought her brand all over the country. Christina is a baller. We love her. And we love this flavor. Thank you for inspiring a new generation of bakers, and this flavor Christina!

WHAT'S IT TASTE LIKE?

This ice cream tastes like real bananas…not the fake banana flavor. That is, of course, because it does in fact have real roasted organic bananas in it; whole ones that are roasted up with a dusting of brown sugar on them. We add a touch of cinnamon and a good dose of maple syrup for good measure. Then we add chocolate chips for texture (and taste) but mostly texture.
