THE STORY
Every spring, we just know we have to call on PARU tea in La Jolla for their beautiful premium-grade matcha. PARU is as particular about sourcing their tea, as we are about making our ice cream. This matcha in particular comes from two different types of samadori. Sipping on this blend transports you to a soft lawn along the oceanside; the perfect welcome to our rainy San Diego spring weather.
WHAT'S IT TASTE LIKE?
This flavor boasts a variety of zingy, grassy notes. It reminds us a little of sitting on a grassy lawn in the tropics. The coconut brings the island flair, while the fresh lime cuts the earthy sweet pairing with a bold brightness. This flavor is clean and smooth. It is a beautiful expression of the matcha we source from PARU.
