THE STORY
In my yard at home we have a bunch of baby citrus trees, and for some reason, the one that is doing the best is the meyer lemon. We also have so much lavender too. It’s everywhere. Together I thought they would make just the best lavender lemonade flavor. We added the blue pea flower because, contrary to popular belief, lavender does not really turn ice cream purple…instead it turns everything slightly brown. Butterfly pea flower is natural and turns things bluish purple so we thought that could be a fun addition to the flavor.
WHAT'S IT TASTE LIKE?
This flavor is floral with a capital ‘F’ and is made for people that like looking at flowers, eating flowers, being around flowers, thinking about flowers, or wish they were a flower…
The lavender is strong, and the meyer lemons are also floral in nature so together they are a little powwowy and yes, that is a made-up word…you’re welcome
