THE STORY
This is an OG Little Fox flavor. We were inspired to create an ice cream that would taste more like an Andes mint and less mint-chip. We also only use truly natural ingredients in lieu of extracts or "natural flavorings," so fresh mint was the route. We think of this flavor of as a chocolate mojito.
WHAT'S IT TASTE LIKE?
This is a chocolate ice cream steeped with fresh mint. It is not going to be your typical mint-chip. People will say it tastes like herbs, and they are right. Real mint is, in fact, an herb. We also blend our own cocoa powder to get a unique balance of flavors. Our cocoa blend contains black cocoa powder, which is a little on the smoky side and results in really rich chocolate ice cream. The brownie batter and mint is a nice way to add texture and a hint of extra mint making it just a little bit cooler.
