THE STORY
When I was working as a bartender, the most popular drink we served was called an Easy Street. It was gin, elderflower, lemon, sugar and seltzer. It was the most refreshing drink ever. What made it even better was when we muddled fresh summer berries in. Tipplers couldn’t resist this cocktail. This ice cream flavor was inspired by that cocktail. It’s berry berry good.
WHAT'S IT TASTE LIKE?
This is truly one of the best strawberry ice cream flavors you will ever have. We roast the strawberries in an elderflower liqueur for a bit of time before adding them to this ice cream. The elderflower somehow makes the strawberries taste even more like strawberries, while donning them with a little floral kiss. It is simultaneously refreshing, and delicate. But get there soon. This flavor lasts only as long as the california strawberry crops and disappears in the blink of an eye.
