THE STORY
The final flavor in our ‘Superbloom’ series is delicate, light and refreshing. Jasmine buds start to blossom right around this time of year, and their sweet, fragrant smell is always a sure sign of spring. To make this flavor, we steep small jasmine pearls with a touch of fresh ginger in the base and then swirl in a zingy orange ginger custard. The result is a beautiful, refreshing, and floral flavor. A perfect flavor pairing and a wonderful nod to the crisp spring air.
WHAT'S IT TASTE LIKE?
This flavor is a delicate one. Jasmine tea is so floral yet subtle, and lends itself to a rather demure ice cream. The orange ginger swirl adds brightness to the delicate flavor of the ice cream base.
